With good reason, this lovely park has been referred to as a "little germ" numerous times. The Northern Tanzanian safari hub, Arusha town, is just fifteen minutes away by paved road. It has an amazing sense of peace and solitude with its mountains, valleys, lakes, and small plains covered in greenery. At 4,566 meters (14,980 feet), Mount Meru, the fifth-highest free-standing mountain in Africa, dominates the region.
In addition to providing an incredible experience, Tanzania's second-highest peak acts as a haven for acclimatization before climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Although you can visit the Park all year round, June through September and December through early March are the ideal times to go. October to November is the short rainy season, and March to May is the heavy rainy season. The annual average rainfall during these seasons ranges from... to.. mm. The park is situated between 1,700 and 4566 meters above sea level.
Arusha National Park offers a wide range of activities, such as game drives, short and long walking safaris.A variety of tourist activities are available in National Park, such as Game Drives (GD), Short and Long Walking Safaris (SWS and LWS), Canoeing, Mountain Climbing (MC), Horse Riding (HR), and Cycling.
