DAY 1: ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

This day is a long marathon 6 hours’ drive to Serengeti from Arusha town.

Perhaps despite your limited time, you have a dream of visiting the Serengeti Park? We provide this epic 6-hour drive from Arusha town to the Serengeti. Beginning very early in the morning, at 6:00 a.m. from your accommodation following breakfast, you will be driven to one of Africa's best wildlife parks, Serengeti National Park, by your knowledgeable safari guide. Travel through the mist-covered rainforests of the Ngorongoro Crater and drive past the Great Rif Valley Escarpment, which offers a panoramic morning view of Lake Manyara Park, surrounded by greenery and with pink flamingos in bloom that seem to be hovering in midair.

Area of Conservation You can break up the journey with an optional activities stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum, also known as the Cradle of Mankind, which honours some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever found of the earliest fossil in the world of human habitation. You can stop at the crater view point to catch a glimpse of cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth. Visit or take a tour to one of the well-known real Maasai bomas to see and take part in traditional Maasai dances. You may also go shopping for trinkets at the nearby village market. The two aforementioned activities come at an extra expense. It's time to explore Serengeti Park after enjoying a delectable lunch at the picnic area next to the park's entrance gate. As you drive through the endless savannah plains dotted with acacia trees, you'll start to realise how vast this area is and be amazed by the variety of animals and birds that call it home. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the most famous yearly wildebeest migration takes place during the afternoon wildlife drive in the Serengeti. You will spend the night at the lodge or tent after dusk.

DAY 2: FULL DAY MARA RIVER CROSSING.

We begin the day with a breathtaking dawn game drive over the stunning Serengeti plains, where we watch as the sun sets on savannah grasslands and predators, including lions and leopards, search for their morning prey. Alternatively, for an additional $650 per person, you might choose to witness this morning's dawn in the skies while on a historic HOT AIR BALLOON safari, landing in champagne and cheering while waiting for a well-prepared hot bush breakfast. It's a possibility, so ask your guide how you might incorporate this amazing experience into your safari.

Your driver will select the optimum path to optimise your chances of viewing the Big Five, the hippopotamus pools, on the game drive, which will take you to the Mara River, north of Serengeti Park, for the best view of the crossing. Numerous herds of animals, including majestic giraffes, hopping antelopes and gazelles, strong African elephants, and the most revered group of them, predators, will be visible to you. It's possible to see slender cheetahs, bashful leopards, giggling hyenas, and, of course, the majestic lion, the monarch of the forest. Dinner after dusk and spending the night at a camp or lodge.

DAY 3: FULL DAY MARA RIVER CROSSING

We will depart the lodge or camp early in the morning, carrying lunch boxes and breakfast. "It's a full day in the bush river shore," we say, as we go on a game drive through the Kogatende area, looking for carnivores and the large migration groups that will be getting ready to cross the Mara River, which is the final major barrier separating the Gnus on the one hand and the large hippos and giant Nile crocodiles on the other opposite bank of the river. With a little patience and luck, you may be able to see the crossing itself, as zebras and wildebeest fearlessly plunge into crocodile-filled river currents in an effort to reach the other side and safety. Drive to the resort or camp in the late afternoon for dinner and the night.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR – BACK TO ARUSHA

Wonderful 6-7hrs Game drive in Ngorongoro 3hrs drive back to Arusha

Being the first person inside the crater and witnessing the sunrise before it becomes crowded is an added benefit to spending the night on the crater rim. Get in your safari vehicle and head down the road to descend the Ngorongoro Crater after eating an early-morning breakfast on the rim of the park. The descent descends 610 metres to the Ngorongoro Crater's Caldera floor, which is regarded by some as the world's eighth wonder. Some of the most famous faces in Africa may be seen and photographed from the comfort of your open-pop up safari vehicle. It is undoubtedly among the best places in Africa to go on safari.

When you first see this enormous, lush caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you'll quickly see why it has gained such a high reputation all throughout the world. In addition to the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a solitary meal on the grass plains, the Crater is home to over 120 different species of mammals, including the Big Five, a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and many more. One can also witness large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water, as well as the pride of lions roaring in their territories. Following the day's adventures and excitement, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the location right on Lake Magadi's edge. However, watch out for black kites, who may try to steal your food. Drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon after climbing the crater wall. Before you check into your hotel, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Tanzania's second-tallest mountain, Mount Meru, on a clear afternoon if the weather permits. END OF TRIP
