We look for lodging establishments with welcoming owners, trustworthy and accommodating employees, delicious food options, prime locations with breathtaking views, a cosy ambiance, and all the amenities a property needs. Whatever lodging option you select, all of our reservations and recommendations are assured to be reasonably priced.

Mid-Range Lodges. 2-3*

The greatest options for a single person, a family, or a couple seeking a comfortable safari at a reasonable price are Mid-Range Lodges or Tented Camps. Mid-range lodgings offer a variety of amenities, such as a restaurant, bar, and laundry room. But even within the same midrange lodging locations, there are significant differences in terms of amenities, location, and room configuration. You should definitely anticipate having flush toilets and hot and cold running water. Tented camps and mid-range lodges are often comparable to two- to three-star hotels.

Standard Lodges 3-4*

Nice, tidy rooms with double beds and separate bathrooms with hot showers are features of our basic hotel accommodations. Included are mosquito netting and linens. A shared indoor buffet eating hall serves breakfast, noon, and dinner.

Luxury Lodges 5*

Types of Luxury Tented camps:

Permanent Tented lodge / Camps

These are year-round fixed-position campgrounds, some with raised decking, an outside eating area, and sometimes a swimming pool. There is always a permanent luxury tented camp that suits your needs, ranging from ultra-luxurious to rustic and affordable. Tented camps have primarily canvas buildings, with either a wood or brick floor. The rooms are equipped with furnishings and have their own bathrooms. The variety of standards is enormous.

Typically, they have all the advantages that a brick building has to offer. A tented camp or lodge does, in fact, typically cost more than a brick lodge since it provides a more genuine experience and all the charm of Africa without sacrificing comfort.

Mobile Semi-permanent tented camps

The site of these camps can be easily moved to accommodate the finest wildlife viewing, perhaps with the same level of comfort as a permanent tented camp. This allows the camps to move routinely with the seasonal movement of the Great Wildebeest Migration. These are large, fully constructed canvas tents that are erected periodically in key locations across the park to allow visitors to get as near as possible to the wildlife. Similar to the midrange lodges, these are roomy walk-in tents with beds, private toilets, and other amenities.

When you arrive at the Public Campsite during Budget Camping Safari, our knowledgeable staff (cook and guide) will begin setting up the tents. You are welcome to help erect the tents if you feel up to it, or you can just use the facilities to shower, change clothes, freshen up, and get ready for the evening meals that your chef has prepared. (in the public campsite, washroom facilities are shared with other campers on the same area).

Your tasty dinner will be provided to you in the open, airy space of your Camping Safari. It's a breathtaking vista of the starry sky. Before going to bed, you can zip up your wine or coffee and order a campfire.

BASIC BUDGET CAMPING (tents on the ground)

These are compact, private dome tents that may accommodate a small family of four people or two people. Simple, low-cost tents are allowed on a public camping area that is either outside the park or inside the park. Here, you can choose to sleep on a safari bed upon request or on a two-inch-thick roll-up mattress on the ground inside a sleeping bag. Every evening, our safari crew prepares your meals and sets up the camp. There are simple communal restrooms and washrooms at the camping area.
