2 Days 1 Night - Zanzibar To Tarangire Park & Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1: Fly from Arusha or Zanzibar to Tarangire park for afternoon game drive, Overnight at the lodge or camp

Day 2: Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport flight to Zanzibar

DAY 1: ZANZIBAR TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Around 4 a.m., check out of your Zanzibar hotel. Your driver will come get you at 5 a.m. and take you to the airport. Once you've checked in, head to the airport in Arusha or Kilimanjaro. After meeting your driving guide, hop in the safari car and enjoy a two-hour trip to Tarangire Park, which takes us around the western side of Arusha town. Your eyes will be exposed to the vibrant and unique Tanzanian terrain along the way, as well as the mix of local markets and farming, possibly with a glimpse of Maasai ranchers moving their herds of goats to fresh pastures in the morning.

After a hearty breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater by road in your safari jeep. The trip passes over the Great Rif Valley Escarpment, which provides a broad view of Lake Manyara Park at sunrise. The park is surrounded by verdant forests, and pink flamingos can be seen soaring through the sky. Your guide offers to let you stop at the crater observation point with your binoculars to take in everything that is visible before you descend the crater floor.
