    DAY 1: Arusha Park park

1hr drive to Arusha park, game drive, late afternoon back to your hotel or airpor

Arusha National Park is a compact, breathtaking park with a variety of activities that can be fit into a single day of travel. The park is the nearest, just a one-hour drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha town. There is an abundance of wildlife to be observed up close. From the colobus monkeys, hyenas, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, bushbucks, and giraffes in black and white. This park is home to about 400 different types of birds, including fish, snake eagles, hornbills, pelicans, and flamingos.

The stunning Seven Momela Lakes, the Ngurdoto Crater, and the second-highest mountain in Tanzania, Mount Meru, are three of Arusha Park's most prized and noteworthy attractions. When there are no clouds in the sky, you can clearly see the pinnacle of Mount Meru and the snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro. The BEST THREE things to do in a single day are a nature walk in the morning, a wildlife game drive in the afternoon, and canoeing in the lake.

Take a three-hour nature walk with a park ranger and enjoy a lovely stroll beneath the canopy. Through the rainforest, the ranger will lead you to the sparkling waterfalls where you might be able to see colobus monkeys.

Three-hour wildlife game drive: After your delightful physical nature walk, return to the safari vehicle and go on a game drive through the Serengeti Ndogo, ascending to the viewpoint of Ngurdoto Crater. This is the ideal location for a picnic lunch, after which you can descend to the Momela Lakes shoreline and hop into the canoe.

A serene and picturesque two-hour boat excursion around Momella Lake's shorelines. Views of buffaloes, bushbucks, giraffes, hippos, and several water birds that live in and near the water are available on this canoe safari. Following a full day of exploring one or both of the activities, you will return by car to your Arusha accommodation. Better make plans for your packed, take-out breakfast with hotel the night before the journey.

DAY 2: Trip To Ngorongoro Crater

3hrs drive to Ngorongoro Crater and 5-hrs game drive 3 hrs drive back to Arusha

After a hearty breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater by road in your safari jeep. The drive passes through the Great Rif Valley Escarpment, which provides a broad view of Lake Manyara Park at sunrise. The park is surrounded by verdant forests, and pink flamingos can be seen soaring through the sky. Your guide offers to let you stop at the crater view point with your binoculars to take in everything that is visible before you descend the crater floor. Then descend 610 meters to the Ngorongoro Crater's Caldera floor, which is regarded by some as the world's eighth wonder. As soon as you catch a glimpse of this enormous, lush caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you will see why it has gained such a prestigious reputation worldwide. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought-after safari destinations worldwide, with over 120 species of mammals, including the renowned Big Five, calling it home. Nobody is willing to miss it. It's a particularly good place to witness the pride of lions and large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water, as well as the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a solitary meal out on the grass plains.

Observing and photographing some of Africa's most recognizable faces will be possible from the comfort of your open-roof top safari vehicle. Predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas live in large numbers in the crater, along with a sizable population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and other animals. It genuinely is among the top safari destinations in Africa.

Following the day's adventures and excitement, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch by Lake Magadi's edge, where you can get the best views of the flamingos. Drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon after climbing the crater wall. Before you check into your hotel, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Tanzania's second-tallest mountain, Mount Meru, on a clear afternoon if the weather permits. END OF TRIP
