Day trip to Lake Manyara National park

After packing the safari car with all of your belongings, head out for a two-hour drive around Arusha town's western perimeter to reach Lake Manyara National Park. Not to mention the Masai and Reticulated giraffes, who practically beg to be photographed, and the numerous hippopotamus pools nearby, you can expect to see some of the most iconic animals in Africa. The tree-climbing lions are a special treat in this park. Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher's paradise, offering hundreds of different species to see. Even the most experienced observer can be mesmerized by the vast flocks of greater and lesser flamingos that cover the lake, the circling birds of prey, and the vividly colored lilac-breasted roller. If you didn't try the boardwalk on the thick, your game drive will come to an end with a foot taste of the natural underground hot spring. Leave the park and return to Arusha, where, if the weather permits, you can enjoy a great view of Tanzania's second-tallest mountain, Mt. Meru, before checking into your hotel. END OF TRIP
