4 Days 3 Nights - Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari

Day 1: Drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara for game drive till sunset, overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 2: Full day game drive in Masai Mara from sunrise to sunset, overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 3: Drive to Lake Nakuru for afternoon game drive till sunset, overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 4: Sunrise game drive in Lake Nakuru park, afternoon drive to Nairobi at your hotel. END

DAY 1: DRIVE FROM NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA.

After checking into your hotel, you will be picked up by your knowledgeable driver guide at 7:30 am to embark on a lengthy drive across the magnificent Rift Valley Escarpment. Getting to Masai Mara in the afternoon, going on a game drive until dusk, then staying the night at a lodge or camp for dinner.

DAY 2 FULL DAY IN MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

You will be rewarded for a lengthy game drive during these two full days of searching for the wildebeest migration. Take long game drives in a 4x4 safari car to discover the Mara Triangle, the northwest region of the Masai Mara. Amazing wildlife experiences are something you should definitely look forward to, especially during the Great Migration! You will visit the Mara River, which is the biggest obstacle in the way of the zebra and wildebeest migrations each year. When the river swells to nearly breaking its banks in late October or early November, it creates an amazing scene. Tens of thousands of animals must cross it, knowing that possible death awaits them – as crocodiles are hiding just below the surface. It can be a gruesome sight. At other times of the year, hippos, crocodiles and other animals can also be seen at the river. As the sun begins to set, you return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE TO LAKE NAKURU

The ideal thing to do is get up early, eat a hearty breakfast, and then check out of the lodge or campsite in time for your last Masai Mara game drive. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park after leaving Masai Mara, which will take approximately 6.5 hours. After arriving in Nakuru, take a game drive at dusk, have dinner, and spend the night at the lodge or camp.

DAY 4 - LAKE NAKURU – NAIROBI END

Everything that begins must come to an end. Although you would like to remain longer, the timetable dictates that you must get up early for your last breakfast and prepare a picnic for your last game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Many call Lake Nakuru the "Pink Lake" because of its vast flamingo population, which is well-known worldwide. In addition to birds, you may spot small wildlife in the surrounding gardens, such as water buffalo, impala, rhinos, and emus. Take a game drive from dawn till late in the afternoon, after which take the route to Nairobi to spend the night at your hotel. END OF TRIP
