6 Days 5 Nights - Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli

Day 1: Drive to Masi Mara for game drive till sunset, overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 2: Full day game drive in Masai Mara from sunrise to sunset, overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 3: Masai mara to lake Nakuru for game drive till sunset, overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 4: Sunrise game drive in Lake Nakuru, drive to Amboseli park for overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 5: Full day in Amboseli park from sunrise to sunset, overnight at the camp or lodge

Day 6: Amboseli park game drive, afternoon drive back to Nairobi END

DAY 1: DRIVE FROM NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA.

After checking into your hotel, you will be picked up by your knowledgeable driver guide at 7:30 am to embark on a lengthy drive across the magnificent Rift Valley Escarpment. Getting to Masai Mara in the afternoon, going on a game drive until dusk, then staying the night at a lodge or camp for dinner.

DAY 2 FULL DAY IN MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

You will be rewarded for a lengthy game drive during these two full days of searching for the wildebeest migration. Take long game drives in a 4x4 safari car to discover the Mara Triangle, the northwest region of the Masai Mara. Amazing wildlife experiences are something you should definitely look forward to, especially during the Great Migration! You will visit the Mara River, which is the biggest obstacle in the way of the zebra and wildebeest migrations each year. When the river swells to nearly breaking its banks in late October or early November, it creates an amazing scene. Since crocodiles are lurking just below the surface, tens of thousands of animals must cross it, knowing that they may not survive. It's sometimes a graphic scene. Hippos, crocodiles, and other creatures can be spotted near the river at different times of the year. You head back to your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as the sun sets.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE TO LAKE NAKURU

The ideal thing to do is get up early, eat a hearty breakfast, and then check out of the lodge or campsite in time for your last Masai Mara game drive. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park after leaving Masai Mara, which will take approximately 6.5 hours. After arriving in Nakuru, take a game drive at dusk, have dinner, and spend the night at the lodge or camp.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU PARK – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

We will have a lengthy game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park following your hearty breakfast to witness the diverse range of wildlife, including millions of flamingos and other waterfowl. Leaving Lake Nakuru National Park around midday, we will travel to Amboseli National Park in time to see the late sunset, have dinner, and spend the night at a camp or lodge.

DAY 5: AMBOSELI PARK FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, spend the entire day on an Amboseli National Park game drive. Alternatively, you can choose to combine the day with an optional visit to a Maasai community to witness their traditional dances and way of life. Return to the camp or lodge for the night after sunset.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI PARK – NAIROBI CITY.

After breakfast, depart the lodge to go on the final en route game drive in Amboseli Park. In the afternoon, begin your highway journey to Nairobi, arriving at your accommodation by late afternoon. END OF TRIP
